Wells Lamont is a brand known for quality gloves. Since 1907 they have been producing top-notch gloves in Aberdeen, South Dakota. The company was started by Wilson Orson Wells who partnered with Maurice Lamont in 1914 to which turned the company into Wells Lamont. In 1916 the company moved to Minneapolis to be closer to leather suppliers. By the 1930s he developed the best selling leather palm gloves in the United States called, the White Mule. Today the company is located in the suburbs of Chicago in Niles.
